NOTE: MMAP is now processed as a payment type instead of a coupon. For transactions August 9, 2023, and earlier, MMAP transactions will be listed within the Coupon Activity report where ‘coupon’ = ‘MMAP’.

Starting on August 10, 2023, MMAP is considered a form of payment. All transactions from August 10, 2023, and forward, MMAP payments will be visible via the Order Payments report where ‘payment type’ = ‘MMAP’. MMAP will also now be the last payment type applied to purchases and the last refunded payment type for partial refunds.

When you check out a patient, and that patient is enrolled in the program, you can use the following steps to utilize the MMAP functionality.

  1. MJ Platform How To

No settings need to be enabled.

If the patient is enrolled in the MMAP program, the following fields will be present (if not, they are not enrolled in the program). Only one MMAP discount amount can be applied to an order. A previously used MMAP discount can be removed from the order before closing, allowing another MMAP discount to be applied.

You can apply the dollar amount (not %) to an order as needed in the MMAP section located below the Manual Discount section.

Once applied, copy the reference code and patient ID to be used in the MMAP system (Magellan).

MMAP will also display in the cart totals section once applied.

Move to payment and printing to check out the patient. The MMAP discount will also show on the receipt.

It will also be displayed on the patient's order history.
