If a patient returns an item, you can restock it and optionally issue a refund.
If you operate in Utah, see the Utah returns workflow.
If this is an MMAP return scroll to bottom or click here.
Note: MJ Platform does not support partial refunds. To do that, refund and restock as described here, then sell the item(s) again and charge the adjusted amount.

Correct the payment method if necessary:
Select the Change Payment checkbox.
Select a payment method from the drop-down menu.
If you want to add another payment method, click the Add button on the right side of the pane.
Click Save.
Restock and/or refund:
You can click Refund All or Restock All to add all the items for the Refund Items or Restock Items list on the right side of the page.
To only restock without refunding, click Restock Only for the applicable item. The button label changes to "Restocking" to reflect your action, and the item is added to the Restock Items list on the right side of the page.
To restock and refund, click Refund & Restock for the applicable item. The button labels change to "Refunding" and "Restocking" to reflect your action, and the item is added to both the Refund Item and Restock Item lists on the right side of the page.
In some jurisdictions, the action to refund is available as its own button separate from restocking.
If the item is sold as EA, it will restock one at a time. Click the button multiple times until the correct number of units is displayed in parentheses.
If refunding, click your user profile in the top-right corner of the page and ensure the register to deposit the refund to is selected.
Click Complete Refund Only, Complete Restock Only, or Complete Refund & Restock, depending on the situation. The items listed under Refund Items will be refunded, and the items listed under Restock Items will be restocked.
Note: You can go back and repeat this process from step 3 to restock an item later if you have only refunded it, but you cannot go back to refund an item if you restock it without refunding.
If you are trying to restock and it fails due to an error, process the refunds only and then reconcile the inventory levels to the correct amount. If your jurisdiction only allows for refund and restock as one action for individual items, use the Refund All option, then sell again to the customer only the items that were not meant to be refunded/restocked.
Print labels and receipts as needed.
