How to Set up Package Sizes

After setting up the available package sizes for the facility, you will be able to select them in packaging jobs within that facility, as well as sell and purchase items in increments of the set up weights. This process is the same for all facility types. If your organization has multiple facilities, you must set up package sizes for each one.

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Facility Settings.

  2. Click Facility Package Size Management. This opens the Select Package Sizes page.

  3. Set up each package size for the facility:

    1. Select the checkbox for the package size. This displays additional fields.

    2. Select whether the package can be used for Purchase Orders or Sales Orders, and which category of products it can be used for.

  4. If the package size you need is not displayed, scroll down to the Custom Package Size field and enter a custom size in grams. Then click the Add button and repeat step 3.

  5. Select the required package size options for the facility:

    • Packaging Seeds: This option exists for backward compatibility and will not have an effect.

    • Display Inactivation Reason

  6. Click Save. The settings are applied to the current facility module.
