MJ Platform organizes your company into two main levels: the organization level and the facility level.

The organization is the entire company, and a facility is one location within the organization.

Facility Types

MJ Platform offers a specialized module for each of the three facility types:

  • Cultivation

  • Extraction & Infusion (E&I), or Processor

  • Retail/Pharmacy/Dispensary

Advanced Settings and Facility Settings

Settings that you configure at the organization level (Advanced Settings) are applied across all facilities, whereas settings that you configure at the facility level (Facility Settings) apply to one facility.

For example, the Partners page is accessed from the Advanced Settings page. If you create a vendor partner while logged in to the retail facility module, the partner will be available to the cultivation and processing facility modules as well.

As another example, the Organization Strains page is accessed from the Advanced Settings page. The strains you select on this page are the strains that will be available to be selected on each facility's Facility Strains page.

Type-Specific Advanced Settings

Some advanced settings, such as those on the Rewards Setup page, only make sense for one facility type, so although they are organizational level settings, they will only be displayed on the Advanced Settings page when you are logged in to the applicable type of facility module.

Product Masters and Inventory

Product masters are organization-wide settings that hold information about a type of product you produce, process, and/or sell. Product masters are the same for all facilities. Since they are dealt with so often, you access the Products page directly from the App Drawer instead of the Advanced Settings page.

Inventory of each product is tracked at the facility level. You can transfer inventory between facility modules through Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
