Each MJ Platform user has a user account associated with their login credentials. You can create and modify user accounts from the Advanced Settings page.

Note: If you operate in Pennsylvania, follow the specialized PA user creation process instead.

Complete this procedure to create or modify user accounts.

Open the App Drawer, expand the People menu and click Users.

Create or modify a user:

  • To modify a user account, select a user, then click Modify User.

  • To create a new user, click Create User.

Enter the user's information in the fields provided. Required fields are marked with an asterisk in the software.

Login Information

Field

Description

Username

The unique identifier for this user. This is the name the user enters to log in.

Password

The user's password cannot be set on this page. For more information, see How to Reset a User Password.

Card Swipe

If you have a key card lock, you can store a user's key card string here.

Email

The email that MJ Platform will send emails to for this user, such as password reset emails.

Confirm Email

The email entered in this field must match the one in the Email field in order to save any changes made to the user's account.

Assign User Role
The fields in this section determine the user's roles (set of permissions) at each facility. A role determines the changes the user can make and the information they can access on MJ Platform. For more information on setting up the available user roles, see How to Manage User Roles.

For example, in Puerto Rico, this is the occupational license that allows you to work in the cannabis industry. It usually starts with CM-LO or CM-LOG.

Termination Date

Status

Determines whether the user can log in. The normal status is Active. Select Inactive to prevent the user from logging in. Inactive users are displayed on the Inactive tab on the User Listing page.

Vehicle Information
The fields in this section are for your own reference only. They pertain to the user's personal vehicle. These fields are not related to drivers and vehicles stored for your organization on MJ Platform.
