PA Shared Sandbox Enhancements
Added a new Taxonomy Description field to Product Masters, allowing for longer, more descriptive taxonomy names without affecting existing data.
Product Name is no longer overwritten by the Taxonomy Name
We encourage you to create new Product Masters in the Shared Sandbox to test this functionality.
"We Produce this Product" now defaults to ON, supporting new packaging job, processing, and assembly workflows
Automatic Strain Mapping from Supply Chain:
When mapping to a Product that does not have a Strain selected, the Strain that's assigned to the sending party's Product Master will automatically be assigned.
Custom strains are now automatically created and enabled when receiving inbound transfers from other organizations.
Fixed an issue that was preventing revamped Pre-Pack products from being added to Sales Order or Inventory Receipt.
Added optional columns for Med price, Rec price, and Cost to the Inventory Listing, with full search support.
Links to the old Product Master Listing and Creation pages are now hidden, ensuring users access the latest workflows.

Product Master Now Editable During Package Modification
Puerto Rico retail users now have greater control over inventory with the ability to change the Product Master directly during package modification. This enhancement streamlines corrections, reduces manual work, and ensures seamless trace system integration.
How it works:
Navigate to the target package and select Modify Package.
The Product Master field is now editable.
Select a new Product Master from the dropdown.
Requirements for a successful change:
The replacement Product Master must match the original on two critical attributes:
Same Category (e.g., Flower, Edible, Concentrate)
Same Strain (Indica, Sativa, Hybrid)
If no Product Master meets these criteria, no results will be listed.
Why this matters:
Fix errors instantly: Correct mis-assigned product masters without deleting and recreating packages.
Maintain compliance: All changes flow through to trace integration automatically.
Save time: Eliminate manual workarounds and reduce support tickets.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
General
Search functionality has been revamped: auto-searching after three keystrokes has been removed, and users can now search with any number of characters, including single characters or numbers.
A dedicated 'Search' button has been added to all search fields, and you will be required to hit click Search or hit Enter to perform the search.
Search results are still reset when the search field is cleared.
Rounding & POS Enhancements
Nickel Rounding settings have been added, allowing administrators to select nickel rounding preferences that apply to all POS terminals:
No Rounding
Round to Nearest
Always Round Up
Always Round Down
POS checkout logic now calculates change due based on rounded totals, with a clear visual indicator of rounding adjustments on the checkout screen and receipts
Closing reports and daily transaction reports now include a "Total Cash Rounding Adjustment" field, helping managers account for rounding discrepancies in cash drawers.
