Change Code 748

This change was scheduled to come into effect on August 17, but was delayed to August 24 to allow for further quality assurance testing.

The main page and app drawer have been updated to improve navigation. You can now directly access many of the pages you use without needing to first step through intermediary pages.

For example, can create a new product by clicking Create Product in the app drawer directly, skipping the intermediary Product Listing page. By doing this, you do not need to wait for the list to load before clicking Create Product. (You can still do that of course! These new shortcuts are just another way you can use MJ Platform.)

Specific to retail facilities

We have improved the error message returned when there is an attempt to start a new order for a patient who already has an open order. The error message now contains both the consumer ID and the order ID so that you can easily find the existing open order and cancel it through the API if desired.

In the top section of a patient's profile, you can now select the identification method used for them, which will be included in the sales report pushed to Metrc if it is required in your jurisdiction. In the future, this may also be applicable to non-Metrc facilities if it becomes a requirement.

The Sales Export page has been improved. You can now select precisely which columns to include in your export by setting the column visibility.

Specific to Metrc-integrated facilities in DC

On the Category Management page, the Category drop-down menu will now only display categories that are compatible with Metrc DC to prevent incorrect category selections.

Specific to Grower and Processor facilities in Pennsylvania

Users in Grower and Processor facilities can now send immature plant material and seeds to each other through a wholesale transfer. We have added four new subcategories to the "Unmedicated" category; Inventory in these subcategories can be transferred without test results via unmedicated transfers. To move existing seed or plant material inventory into one of these new subcategories, create new product masters, assign them to these categories, then recreate the inventory under these product masters.

Specific to facilities in Michigan

When performing a packaging job to convert bulk inventory into prepacks (i.e., transferring inventory from a product master with bulk measurement to a product master with unit-based measurement), you can now successfully complete it without system errors.

When loading the Sales Locations page, the locations are now collapsed by default if you have more than 20 so that the page loads faster and so that you can quickly find the location you want to edit.
