The procedure outlined in this article is part of the initial Metrc integration process. For an overview on the process, see <a href="https://intercom.help/mjplatform/en/articles/6650608" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">METRC Integration</a>.

You can push existing product masters to Metrc by making a small change to the ingredients field, which will not alter any functionality.

Open the App Drawer, expand the Products menu and click Mass Modify Products.

Click Add Product(s) to open the Add Products to Update List button.

Select the products to be pushed to Metrc:

1. In the Category field, select one category.
2. In the Sub-Category field, select one subcategory. Note: Metrc has a rate limit to the number of API calls it will accept at a time. If you attempt to push too many product masters at once, Metrc may reject some of them. Be sure to select only one category and subcategory to avoid this.
3. Click Search. A list populates with the product masters in the subcategory.
4. Select the checkbox at the top of the list to select all the product masters.
5. Click Add To List. This closes the window.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. In the large Ingredients textbox, add a dash or period.

Click Save. The product masters in the subcategory are pushed to Metrc.

Repeat this procedure for each subcategory.

3. Select the products to be pushed to Metrc:

5. Click Preview.
6. Click Save. The product masters in the subcategory are pushed to Metrc.
