Pricing groups allow you to set different pricing levels based on the weight being sold to a customer. Once a pricing group is created, you can apply it to product masters so that any sold inventory of those product masters will take on the pricing scheme.

You should create at least one pricing group for flower, one for concentrate, and one for pre-roll products.

Note: If you want to sell or purchase a particular weight, you must also set up a package size of that weight.

Creating a Pricing Group

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Facility Settings.

  2. Click Pricing Groups.

  3. Click Create Group.

  4. Enter the general information about the pricing group in the fields provided. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

    • The pricing class is the discount scheme for this pricing group, which can override the default discounts specified for customer groups. If you don't want to use a pricing class, leave the field blank.

  5. Enter your base prices for each weight you sell.

    • Enter a base price for at least one weight.

    • You can optionally select a tax profile to preview the post-tax price of each weight.

    • If the desired weight is not listed, click Add New Weight (+) and enter the weight in grams.

    • To remove a weight from the table, click the X button next to it.

  6. Save the pricing group.

    • Click Save And Return to create the pricing group and return to the Pricing Group Listing page.

    • Click Save to create the pricing group and stay on the current page. You can then tweak some of the settings and save the new settings as a new pricing group.
