How to Create an Ingredient for Cultivation

If you track feeding schedules for your plants, you may want to also track the ingredients used.

Before you can complete this procedure, you must add the partner that you purchase the ingredient from. After setting up the ingredient, you can add inventory to it through the supply chain.

Creating a Plant Feed Ingredient

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Facility Settings.

  2. Click Ingredients. This opens the Ingredient Listing page.

  3. Click Create Ingredients.

  4. Enter the information about the ingredient in the fields provided. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

    • In the Ingredient Category field, you can select from the drop-down menu or type in a new category. This determines the tab on the Ingredients Listing page the ingredient will be displayed on.

    • If the vendor is not displayed in the Supplier drop-down menu, check that you have created the partner and that in the partner profile, the Purchase From option is displayed in the Partner Type field.

  5. Click Add Ingredient. The ingredient is added to the Ingredient Listing page under the appropriate ingredient category tab.
