If you made a mistake with the tag type (i.e., "plant" or "package") when adding your tracking IDs, you can fix it from the Tracking IDs page.
Caution: If you change the tag type for tags that are already assigned to a plant or package, the Metrc tracking of the plant or package will be broken. Use this procedure only for tags that have been given the wrong type but not yet assigned.
Open the App Drawer and click Integration.
Click Tracking IDs.
In the list, click the group of tracking IDs you want to change and click Activate/Deactivate IDs.
From the ID Type drop-down menu, select the correct ID type and click Update ID Type.
Note: If any of the tags in the group are already assigned to a plant or package, you will receive a warning message. In this case, you will not be able to change the type. You will need to receive new tags.
