MJ Platform offers a fulfillment center option if, in your point of sale workflow, you have a fulfillment center that packs all your orders.

When the fulfillment center workflow is enabled, a budtender will scan in items as usual on the checkout page, but instead of proceeding to payment right away, a button labeled Submit for Packaging will be displayed. When it is clicked, the customer is placed in the Packaging queue, where the fulfillment center staff can handle the packaging. See below for details.

This article covers the following topics:

How to Enable the Fulfillment Center Workflow

  1. Open the App Drawer, expand the Facility Settings menu and click Settings (Advanced).

  2. Click Sales.

  3. In the Patients section, set the Packaging Workflow option to Yes.

  4. Click Save to apply the setting.

How to Use the Fulfillment Center in your Workflow

  1. From the Cart page, click Submit for packaging. This places the order into the Packaging queue for the fulfillment team to fulfill.

  2. The fulfillment team will navigate to the Packaging queue to view this order and add packages to it.

  3. The fulfillment team will see which product(s) the patient wants to purchase and can fulfill from the desired packages (beginning from step 2).

  4. Once the fulfillment team has fulfilled the order with all of the relevant packages, they'll click Release to move this order to the final Payment step.

  5. The order can be finalized as usual by entering a payment and clicking Complete Payment.
