For an overview of the initial Metrc integration process, see METRC Integration.

When you add a new location to your facility with Metrc integration turned on, MJ Platform automatically adds the location to Metrc.

If you already added locations to your facility before Metrc integration was turned on, complete this procedure to add them to Metrc.

Note: Any locations manually added directly in Metrc will not be synchronized with MJ Platform. If you already set up locations directly in Metrc manually, first delete those locations and then complete this procedure.

Pushing locations to Metrc

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Facility Settings.

    1. Click one of the following:

      • Storage Locations to set up storage locations for products.

      • Cultivation Locations (in a cultivation facility module) to set up locations for plants.

      • Sales Locations (in a retail facility module) to set up locations for customer-facing products.

  2. Select the location type. The type of facility you are working in determines the available options. This information is required by Metrc in some jurisdictions.

    • For a cultivation facility, select indoor or outdoor depending on what best reflects where your grow locations are.

    • For E&I and retail facilities, select Default.

  3. Change your section names to make them descriptive enough to see which building, room, and zone they are in by the section name alone.
Note: The section names are the only locations that Metrc accepts.

  4. Click Save All Changes to save the location setup for the current facility module and push the changes to Metrc.
