You can track all plants or plant matter destroyed at your facility by using the Destroy Plants option.
Destroyed plants are displayed on the Plant Listing page on the Inactive tab. If you have waste tracking enabled, they will also appear on the Inventory page under the Waste tab. From there, you can track the transportation of the waste.
If you want to destroy packaged plants, reconcile the amount to zero.
Destroying Plants
Open the App Drawer and click Plants.
Filter the list to find the plants you want to destroy:
If you have a scanner, you can filter the list by barcode. Click Scan Search, select a type of barcode to scan from the drop-down menu next to the search bar, then click into the search bar and scan the barcode.
If you are not using a scanner, ensure the Scan Search button is not selected, then enter any information about the plant into the search bar, such as its strain or plant type.
Select the checkboxes in the filtered list for each plant you want to destroy.
To select all plants displayed on the page, click the checkbox above the list.
When going to a new page in the results list, give the system a few seconds to load and populate the plant data for that page.
Wait for the loading icon to disappear in the top-right part of the window.
Click Destroy Plants.
Enter the amount of waste:
If you don't need to track the waste from each individual plant, keep the Use Overall Values checkbox selected and enter the total waste in the Overall Values row. The total waste will be distributed evenly among the plants.
If you need to track the waste from each individual plant, clear the Use Overall Values checkbox and enter the individual values.
Select the destruction reason and the destruction date.
Click Save. The plants are moved to the Inactive tab on the Plant Listing page.
If you have waste tracking enabled, they will appear on the Inventory page under the Waste tab. From there, you can track the transportation of the waste.
