You can modify a plant in MJ Platform to update any of the following information:

  • Growth phase

  • Plant tags (if required by your state integrator)

  • Location

  • Feeding Schedule

  • Waste reported

  • Custom notes

Modifying Plants

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Plants.

  2. Click the tab corresponding to the current growth phase of the plant.

  3. Select the checkboxes in the list for the each plant you want to update.

    • If you have a scanner, you can filter the list by barcode. Click Scan Search, select a type of barcode to scan from the drop-down menu next to the search bar, then click into the search bar and scan the barcode.

    • If you are not using a scanner, ensure the Scan Search button is not selected, then enter any information about the plant into the search bar, such as its strain or plant type

    • To search for all plants in a specific location, go to the Location Setup page on the Advanced Settings page, then click Print next to the location to get its unique ID. You can then paste the ID into the search bar.

    • Clicking the checkbox in the list header will select all plants on the current page.

    • When going to a new page in the results list, give the system a few seconds to load and populate the plant data for that page.
Wait for the loading icon to disappear in the top-right part of the window.

  4. Click Plant Modification.

  5. To change the growth phase, click the Change Growth Phase drop-down menu and select the new growth phase.

    • If your state integrator requires you to tag your plants, the Beginning Tag field appears when you change the growth phase. Select the first available plant tag. The Ending Tag is automatically populated according to the plant count.

  6. Update any other applicable main fields and enter the date this change physically took place.

    • Note: To be able to save, you must select a modification date by clicking into the field and selecting from the calendar.

  7. You can optionally update information specific to an individual plant by clicking Individual Modification. This expands the page to display fields for each selected plant. Fill in the fields you want to change and click Save next to the change phenotype field. This will save the individual plant's details without closing page.

  8. Save the changes:

    • Click Save And Print to save the changes and open the Print window.

      • Note: There is currently a limit to the number of labels that can be printed at a time. 2x1-inch labels can be printed in batches of 50 at a time. For larger labels with more data keys, the limit is lower.

    • Click Modify Plant (or Modify Group if updating more than one plant) to save the changes and return to the Plant Listing page. The plants will be listed under the tab corresponding to their new phase.
