When you create a Sales Order to send inventory to another facility within your own organization, you can have MJ Platform automatically create a Purchase Order and Inventory Receipt for the facility receiving the inventory. The receiving facility can then accept the transfer when it arrives.

Note: If you operate in California and have not prepared for internal transfers with Metrc, see that process first.

Note: The source vendor of the items in the internal transfer will change to your facility, even if they original came from another vendor.

  1. Open the App Drawer, expand the Supply Chain menu and click Create Sales Order.

  2. From the Order Type drop-down menu, select the type of partner the receiving facility falls under.

  3. In the Partner field, select your own organization, then select the receiving facility in the Partner Facility field.

    • If the receiving facility is not displayed in the drop-down menu, modify its partner profile and add the Sell To option to the Partner Type field.

  4. Enter the date the order was placed and expected arrival date.

  5. From the Order drop-down menu, select whether the order is for medical or recreational inventory.

    • You can only send a medical order if the partner receiving the order was entered as a partner through your state system's integration.

    • This field will not be displayed if your state integrator doesn't require this information.

  6. In the Order Items section, specify the details of the products in the Sales Order:

    1. From the Item drop-down menu, select a product. This adds the product to the Sales order and displays a row for it.

      • If the product is not displayed in the drop-down menu, modify the product master and select the We sell this item checkbox.

    2. For non-prepack products, enter the requested amount and the unit price of the product. For prepack products, enter the requested amount of each prepack and the unit prices.

      • If the package size is not displayed, ensure you have set up the appropriate package sizes for the facility.

  7. In the Status drop-down menu, select Paid.

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Create the matching partner Purchase Order checkbox.

  9. Click Complete Transfer to save the Sales Order, fulfill it, and go to the Complete Transfer page. Continue to step 4 in Fulfill a Sales Order and Create a Transfer.
