Perform an infusion to put your assembly into action by turning bulk inventory into pre-packed inventory.

Note: If it is your intention to mix two or more different batches into pre-packs, you should not use an infusion for it. Instead, use a process to combine the bulk batches, then complete a packaging job on that combined batch. See How to Pre-pack Bulk Inventory for more information.

Prerequisites

Before you can complete this procedure, you must have the following prerequisites set up:

Starting an Infusion

  1. Open the App Drawer, expand the Inventory menu and click the stage your inventory is in.

  2. Click the production run of each inventory item you want to include. This expands their rows to display their package IDs.

  3. Select the checkboxes for the batches you want to include in the infusion and click Start Infusion.

  4. Select the assembly and the quantity of the assembly included in the infusion. This populates the values in the Cannabinoid Potency in mg Required for Assembly reference table. Checkmarks are displayed under each cannabinoid whose required amount is already met by the inventory you selected.

  5. Enter the quantity used for each product.

  6. Enter the details of the infusion in the fields provided.

  7. Click Save. This starts the infusion, which will be displayed on the Active Infusions page.

Completing an Infusion

Complete this procedure when the infusion job is finished.

  1. Open the App Drawer and click Active Infusions.

  2. Click the active infusion, then click Complete Infusion.

  3. In the Extraction Time section, enter the actual completion time of the process if it differs from the expected completion time.

  4. Select the assigned employees and equipment.

  5. Enter the required information about the product produced by the infusion.

  6. Optionally, in the Actual Ingredients Used section, enter the quantity used for each ingredient involved (if any) along with any waste.

  7. Click Save. The product created from the infusion will be displayed on the Inventory page on the tab corresponding to the phase you specified in the New Phase field.
