To check in a patient or caregiver in Utah, they must present their medical marijuana ID card.
Once a patient is checked in, you are taken to the Queue page. See Retail Point of Sale Workflow for more information.
Open the App Drawer and click Check-In.
From the License Type drop-down menu, select the appropriate option.
Click Scan License, then scan the patient or caregiver's license.
If the card cannot be scanned, close the popup window and enter the number manually into the Card Number field.
Click Search. The Utah database is queried for the patient or caregiver's updated information and eligibility for purchasing cannabis.
If they are not eligible for purchasing cannabis, an error message appears.
If the patient is eligible and is being checked in for the first time, an MJ Platform patient profile will be created for them automatically.
