Leaf Data Systems engineers have resolved an issue where lab results created at a testing lab for pre-pack inventory were not being properly applied to the parent pre-pack inventory at the facility of origin.

This fix will cause lab results applied to pre-pack inventory at a testing lab to be inherited by the related parent and sibling inventory at the facility that sent the sample inventory to the lab.

For historical pre-packs that did not properly inherit results that have already been created, the inheritance can be applied by requesting that the lab "re-save" the original test results. This will force the system to run the backend job that applies the lab results to the sibling inventory (and parent batch) at the sending facility. To do so, perform the following steps:

In the module of the testing laboratory:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Tests’ listing page.

  2. Find the lab results for the pre-packs that did not receive the proper inheritance.

  3. Click ‘Edit’ within the line item of the lab result record.

  4. In the ‘Partner Facility’ field at the top of the page, ensure that the facility selected is the one that originated the request for testing. If it is not, select the appropriate facility.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the form and click ‘Save’.

In the module of the facility of origin:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Tests’ listing page.

  2. Click the ‘Update Search’ button.
